I stopped in to look at the plants and shrimp selection. I'm not quite ready for shrimp so I focused on the plants. Grace was very helpful and knowledgeable. They had a great selection of plants. The Shrimp inventory was very low but Grace explained that a restock shipment was coming next week, just in time for me to pick up my first shrimp. I'll be back for sure!

4/1/26 update: I spoke with the owner who contacted me after seeing my review. They clarified that they have been working with USPS and have determined that a different shipping schedule is more beneficial to the health of livestock but had failed to update their website policy to reflect that. He apologized profusely for the confusion and took the time to thoroughly explain this to me. He also asked about the quality of the shrimp I received and has offered to help replace some of the livestock if the color does not improve to the expected condition in a few days. While it can be frustrating having issues with policy and product expectations, the way this has been handled has been very courteous and professional. It shows a genuine level of care and dedication that is needed when dealing with live animals. Original review: I ordered AA grade cherry shrimp. The shrimp were shipped on a Friday via USPS. They state in their shipping policy that they ship from Monday-Wednesday to prevent live animals from being stuck in the postal system over the weekend. Two separate orders the main order placed arrived frozen no heat packs. Contacted the company and they offered to reship the order but again no heat packs both orders completely frozen and the last one took 4.5 days to arrive. Gross negligence here. I'm not sure who you should buy from but it's certainly not this place!! These people have no business near any living creature!

Shrimp was OK, water plants are a whole different story. Surprisingly poor quality and more importantly quantity was simply not there. If they would at least supply one healthy plant that one could work with from 3-4 promised in each pack. The support does NOT answer any messages. They will NOT post reviews that are critical of their products - this is why every item on their website carries 5 star review. Overall disappointing experience that will not see this customer again. One of "plants" came with a package despite calling these lab grown and free of pest snails. The half rotten leaf you see in photo was one of those 3-4 promised plants in the pack. 12/17 update - my tank is now full of small clear-shell snails. These cam with floating plat pack - ones that were guaranteed lab grow and free of snails. I don't mind snails, but I hate that the customer service will NOT respond to any of my emails. They also did not post my review on their website. Lowering rating to 1 star to compensate for crappy service. Shrimp is doing fine, about half are left from what they sent.

The Shrimp Farm is an excellent company overall. I found their prices to be reasonable, and they were extremely helpful with providing me their knowledge on how to care for my shrimp. My shipment arrived promptly and very well packaged, and my shrimp looked healthy and happy. Thank you guys, for all your help! :D
